Apex Fire Settlement
Please be advised that a 7.85 million dollar settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit against EQ, et al stemming from the chemical fire and explosion that led to a mass evacuation in the town of Apex, North Carolina on October 5 and 6, 2006. Residents and business owners in Apex may be entitled to receive compensation as a result of this settlement.
